A stunt coordinator works with the director to design action sequences, assist any department’s needs related to specific stunts, and organize a crew for performance-related action by cast members. In addition, they coordinate, choreograph, and cast all of a production’s dangerous scenes and complex movements to ensure everyone’s safety on set.

According to Ziprecruiter, Stunt Coordinators make a national average of $42,831 or $25.59 an hour (as of March 2022). In general, entry-level stunt coordinators make around $20,500 annually, with senior-level stunt coordinators making $70,000 a year. Of course, this wide range also depends on skill, seniority, company, and location.
